Visa

When I was young, whenever someone mentions the word "visa" a rectangular shaped plastic card comes into mind. I often hear it whenever there are talks of going abroad. I than when making an international trip, you pay using the famous credit card.

Later in life I found out there the visa in conversations I've heard is a document required for international travel. A visa gives an individual permission to enter a country for a period of time. It is issued by the government an individual wishes to visit. There are many types of visas, and before it can be granted several conditions must be met. It is usually stamped or attached to the passport.
