The Green Card

Contrary to popular belief, this much coveted card is not colored green. However, the green card is still very much powerful because it serves as the person's permanent visa to work and live in United States.

The plastic identification card is issued by the government as the Permanent Resident Card, but it cannot be confused as a citizenship pass. Holders of the green card should also be careful because this card may be cancelled due to violation of certain laws, excessively long travels or non-maintenance of permanent residence.
