No Legal Working Permits

Most guest workers come to the US and never go back to their own countries, as their visas require them. When a guest worker, such as the nurse I've mentioned, comes to the US via an immigration "fixer" (the notary public), she simply continues working without the proper permits. Every time the Census people come knocking on the illegal immigrant's door, she hides. Or she has someone legal come around and face the interrogators. This is exactly how the nurse went on with her life in the US, thanks to the scam artist. She almost did not make it, because her money didn't suffice to pay the pseudo-lawyer.
