Immigrants Become Politicians

What about immigrants who dare pass applications for candidacy in government positions? In Italy, there was actually a porn star (Cicciolina) who made it to a Parliament position but that's nothing compared to Mimi Miyagi (an Asian porn star who immigrated to Las Vegas) and other applicants in the Nevada elections. They probably had better ideas to improve Nevada than Rep. Jim Gibbons. Does America need more of this well-intentioned immigrant citizens?
