I enjoy meeting different people from different walks of life. From the most simple to the
well-known personalities in our society. I like talking to these people because I want to learn new things. Knowledge is not only acquired through the classroom or in the books, or no matter how much time you spend surfing the net. It is best to learn through dealing with different people with unique experiences. Like last night, I met a Swiss doctor and a French nurse who are working in the hospital where my friend Angela is confined because of diabetes.
The doctor told me that he's been working in the hospital for almost a year already. He had learned to adapt to the way of life here as well as the way people think. He had built friendships with his colleagues in the hospital. But we both agreed that there is no place like home. He still misses his family in Switzerland. He has a fiancee for three years and they have plans of settling down. Right now, they are still discussing where to stay after. Her fiancee wants him to go
back in Switzerland and live there permanently. However, he loves his work here especially the compensation.
